Ebony is one of the reference woods for fingerboards thanks to its extreme hardness, dimensional stability and very fine pores. These properties deliver a fast and precise feel, excellent wear resistance and a clear tonal response. On 5–6 string electric basses, this results in greater control, definition and stability, even under higher tension loads.

This fingerboard is made from curly ebony, a variant that features a discreet yet elegant natural undulation. The figure shifts with the light, creating subtle reflections that add visual depth while preserving the classic look of black ebony. Each piece has its own unique curl, giving the instrument a distinctive and exclusive character.
