Fender® MIJ Traditional II 60's Telecaster® Neck

The Fender® MIJ Traditional II 60's Telecaster® Neck (part no. 0990560921) belongs to the Japanese Made in Japan Traditional II series, known for its precise craftsmanship and faithful recreation of classic 1960s Telecaster® feel. It features a maple neck with an Indian Rosewood fingerboard, offering a natural touch and balanced tone.

It has a fuller 1960s “U” neck shape, comfortable for rhythm work or for players who like a substantial grip. The neck retains traditional proportions with 21 vintage-style frets and a 9.5" fingerboard radius, giving a familiar vintage feel while remaining easy to play.

The gloss urethane finish offers a smooth and consistent surface typical of Japanese builds. The headstock is pre-drilled for vintage-style Fender tuners with a 2-screw mounting pattern. A bone nut is pre-installed, although a final custom setup is recommended.

The truss rod uses a vintage-style heel adjust system. Key dimensions include a nut width of 1.615", fretwire measuring 0.084" (H) × 0.039" (W), and neck thickness of 0.846" at the 1st fret and 0.905" at the 12th fret.

Designed for Telecaster® bodies with a 25.5" scale length and 4-bolt neck joint, this neck is a reliable choice for classic 60s restorations or custom builds.
