Royal Blackwood

Royal Blackwood is, in several ways, an innovation in the guitar field. Originally a type of amaranth or purpleheart (Peltogyne catingae), it gets its jet black color from a controlled torrefaction process. This process not only gives it that beautiful black tone but also enhances its mechanical properties. Available in both classical sides and backs, and 530mm fingerboards.
