Sapelli Quilted

Sapelli Quilted is a unique and special variation, a rarity of nature, which completely changes the appearance of the wood giving it different and irregular flamed shapes similar to a ‘bubble’. There are different qualities based on the amount and intensity of these bubbles. Quilted woods are highly valued pieces in the manufacture of electric guitars and basses, because this rarity makes them very exclusive pieces. Some manufacturers dye this wood in colours to achieve really spectacular finishes.
