How is Indian Rosewood graded?

In the A Grade is where we may find the widest variety of colors, ranging from dark colored pieces with a small defect such as a knots to lighter colored pieces with a more separated grain. There are no major defects.

The density of the pieces is lower than in higher qualities, it is up to the luthier to evaluate its influence on the sound. It is one of the qualities most used by manufacturers and major brands for their guitars.
