    Neck is an essential part of the instrument, it must support the tension of the strings, so when talking about necks pieces will be cut at 90 degrees except on hard maple, due to its hardness, normally they are cut the other way around.

Excellent quality

I ordered these and asked for quatersawn. I also chose to get them dried and calibrated. The neck blanks that I received where flawless! Perfectly quartersawn and in excellent condition. No knots or flaws. Thanks to MB for excellent service as always!
