Description of the Lining for Cello European Spruce

An essential element in strengthening the structure of a Cello, these inner reinforcements of the sides are made of European spruce with radial cut and straight rings. These thin strips placed along the inside of the sides ensure a firm connection between the ribs, top and back of the cello, providing stability and preventing deformation over time.

European spruce is ideal for this function because of its lightness, strength, and ability to withstand tension without compromising acoustics. Because they are flexible, these counter hoops facilitate the installation process, providing a precise fit and reducing labor time. In addition, their excellent acoustic capacity allows vibrations to be effectively transmitted through the body of the cello, improving the instrument's resonance and tonal quality.
