Looking for an Olive Back for Classical Guitar? One of the most widespread woods of the Mediterranean arc, the olive tree has a very attractive appearance, with a multitude of marked seams of brown and even black on a background of golden color with some touches of pink. It is a very hard and dense wood, with a very pleasant smell and that reaches a great luster once worked.

It is difficult to obtain olive tree backs and sides due to the nature of the tree itself: low stature and a trunk that is normally twisted and very irregular. Finding pieces ready to use and without defects is something that you can practically only do in Maderas Barber.
