Ebony is one of the benchmark woods for electric and acoustic guitar fingerboards thanks to its extreme hardness, high dimensional stability and very fine pore. These properties provide a fast, precise feel, excellent wear resistance and a clear response even under intensive playing. Its natural stiffness helps to keep the neck stable and predictable over time.

This fingerboard, made from curly ebony, shows a very elegant natural undulation. The curl reveals itself with the incidence of light, creating subtle depth and reflections while preserving the understated look of black ebony. Each piece has a unique figure that adds exclusivity to the finished instrument without compromising a traditional dark fingerboard aesthetic.
