The file with the red handle can be used for .016" and .042" strings, the blue .026 and .050 and the yellow .036 and .055. <h2><strong>Why Use Hosco Nut Files</strong></h2>\n
<p>Most of the times, when a guitar or bass presents <strong>problems in tuning stability</strong>, the causes are to be found in an incorrect nut carving, if not in a nut of inappropriate material, such as plastic. When <strong>carving the nut</strong>, it is essential to have the right files for the job. With the Hosco nut files we will achieve <strong>uniformity in the grooving</strong> of the nut, while ensuring that the bottom of the groove is <strong>correctly leveled</strong> thanks to the length of the blade. Its<strong> rounded shape</strong> allows the string to rest on its entire surface, preventing the string from getting stuck in the groove. The handle of each file is covered in rubber for a good grip, and comes in three colours for easy identification.</p>\n
