All Allparts necks are made from the highest quality wood made in the USA or Japan. The neck is made of maple, a wood that is characterized as a hard, durable wood that provides a bright, crisp tone to the bass.

In other words, it helps the sound of the bass not to be so dull and deep, giving it more clarity and volume. For this reason, most electric bass guitar handles are made of maple.

The fingerboard is made of rosewood, a very dense, oily and smelly wood

  • Sanded, unfinished, unfinished, spray-ready bass maple neck
  • Rosewood fingerboard with white dot inlays
  • 10" radius
  • Nut width 1-5/8"
  • Heel width 2-7/16"
  • Tuning Peg Hole Diameter 11/16"
  • Truss rod adjustment at heel
  • Neck thickness 0.86" at the first fret, 0.99" at the twelfth fret

No two necks are exactly alike and may differ slightly from what is pictured.  Unless otherwise noted, Fender ® Musical Instruments licenses this neck to Allparts Music Corporation under a registered trademark license for quality control. Allparts Music Corporation is not affiliated with Fender® and no Fender® warranty applies.

All necks may require fret leveling and polishing and must be calibrated to fit your instrument. This is normal and not a defect. All necks should be carefully inspected prior to installation and/or modification. All wood is unique with individual growth patterns. 

At Maderas Barber, we are confident of the quality of our products, but if any of them do not meet your wishes, do not hesitate to return them to us within 15 days as you receive them. We will refund the amount paid or exchange it for another product.
