Overview Tenor Drone Joints Mopane Galician Bagpipe C 280x37x37 mm:

With this piece you will be able to turn both the first and second joints of a tenor drone on a Galician bagpipe in C.

Mopane is a wood native to southern Africa, extremely dense and with an interlocked grain. It is very hard and tends to quickly dull the cutting edge of the tools that work it. But it turns extremely well, has a great natural luster due to its oils and, like all the woods we offer for wind instruments, it has excellent qualities for that purpose: resistance to rot and insect attack, brilliant acoustic response, visual appeal... In short, we could consider it an economical alternative to blackwood, the main difference between them being the color.
