We don't say it ourselves: you are the ones who make it clear that ziricote is one of the most beautiful woods in our range, that's why the Ziricote 4 pieces + Ziricote Plywood Classical Guitar Back is one of our most sought-after pieces. Like all the backs in this category, they are made up of 3 pieces, the outside of 4 pieces of ziricote, a middle piece of okume and the inner layer is also made of ziricote.

Laminated wood pieces possess some qualities superior to solid woods: great stability and rigidity, as well as being virtually immune to cracking due to their structure and construction. And they do not have to detract from the sound of solid pieces, either. There are many builders today who opt for laminated sides or backs for these and other reasons. Not to mention their economical price, compared to the same solid wood piece. For a fraction of the price of a solid wood piece, you can enjoy spectacularly beautiful woods such as malaysian blackwood or pale moon ebony.

The only precaution to be taken with plywood products is the sanding: since they are made up of two outer veneers of 0.5-0.7 mm, excessive sanding could end up showing the intermediate veneer. This is not a problem if we work with high grit sandpaper and due care.

As with all our laminated pieces, the backdrops are glued in our facilities with formaldehyde-free glues that have passed strict technical controls.

Excellent product. This wood is gorgeous and for a fraction of the price for a solid back. It's also joined and perfect thickness, so no addition planing required!

Fond en contreplaqué

Il s'agit en réalité d'un fond en contreplaqué avec un plus de ziricote en 2 partie côté visible, et en 4 partie côté intérieur de la caisse. Il faut prévoir de combler la jonction entre les placages de ziricote car ils ne sont pas parfaitement jointifs. Je ne suis pas sûr que ce soit une bonne affaire.
