<p>Nothing too complex, you'll see. It just refers to the alloy from which the strings are made. In this case, <strong>92% bronze along with other small amounts of zinc and phosphorus</strong>. Developed in the '70s, they have a longer lifespan than those of 80/20 alloy, as well as a <strong>more natural sound</strong> and <strong>greater resistance to corrosion by sweat</strong>.</p>\r\n

This is an alloy composed of zinc, copper and nickel that has the ideal balance between hardness, abrasion resistance and ductility. Different formulations can be found with a zinc content ranging from 12% to 18%. The higher this percentage, the greater the hardness of the fret. In recent years, frets made of other materials such as <strong>bronze</strong> or <strong>stainless steel</strong> have appeared, offering new possibilities.
