Overview of the Dual notched 25.5" and 24.75" ruler
This laser-cut, stainless steel, notched ruler is a vital measuring tool in the guitar builder's and repairer's workshop , as well as in the guitarist's studio to keep the condition of his instrument always in tune .Fender , Squier , Ibanez , Jackson , among many others. What is the use of the notched ruler?
The notched ruler is used to check the straightness of the guitar neck by taking the surface of the fingerboard as a reference. This is possible thanks to the notches that prevent the ruler from resting on the frets, allowing the musician or luthier to determine if it is necessary to make an adjustment on the truss rod of the instrument to correct its curvature.
