The construction of the top of a classical guitar is one of the most tricky and time consuming processes a luthier can face. To help you, we offer you the A European Spruce Finished Classic Guitar Top MB Exclusive. This top is a product designed for those builders who do not have the time or the necessary tools or are taking their first steps in instrument building.
It is made of high quality European spruce, known for its excellent acoustic response and beautiful light colour. The top has been glued and calibrated to 2.5mm, and comes with the model 306 rosette installed.
This European spruce is known for its light weight and great stiffness, a result of the climatic conditions in which it thrives. These properties make it ideal for the construction of high-end guitars. Historically, European spruce has been the most commonly used material for soundboards, although nowadays American woods are also used with excellent results.
