General description of the Honduras Cedar + Santos Rosewood headplate Finished Classical Guitar Neck with ebony strip Scale 650 MB Exclusive:

The Honduras Cedar + Santos Rosewood headplate Finished Classical Guitar Neck with ebony strip Scale 650 MB Exclusive has a 650mm scale length, the most common for classical guitars, and is designed to work perfectly in conjunction with any of our finished fretboards. This neck is ideal if you want to avoid the work of building the neck of your guitar from scratch or you don't have the necessary tools. This model has a central ebony strip that further reinforces the neck structure and prevents it from bending under string tension. Additionally, two channels has been routed to insert carbon reinforcements to further increase the stiffness of the neck, if desired. The heel is made up with several pieces to minimise unnecessary tension. The headplate, in addition to the Santos Rosewood outer piece, has a combination of white/black veneers underneath it.
After the CNC machining process, any uneven surfaces or loose fibres are carefully removed from the piece. Even so, a light sanding is always necessary prior to the lacquering stage.
