General description of the Brazilian Lacewood Unfinished Electric Guitar Body Stratocaster Style MB Exclusive:
The Brazilian Lacewood Unfinished Electric Guitar Body Stratocaster Style MB Exclusive is made in Spain and it is a faithful recreation of the legendary Fender™ Stratocaster™ model. This body has been pre-routed with the traditional three single coil configuration.
The body of this guitar has all the necessary routings for the electronics and hardware, as well as the tremolo cavity in the back. The holes for the neck and bridge screws have already been drilled.
Finished with 120 grit sandpaper. The body has been sanded to remove the most obvious marks from the cutting and routing process, but it will always be necessary to sand with finer grit sandpaper before any finishing.
It is a common misconception that the influence of wood on the tone of electric guitars and electric basses is radically less than on acoustic instruments. However, many reputable builders have come to the conclusion that all parts of the instrument, especially the body material, have a decisive influence on the final sound. In the case of Lacewood, it was first used as a flashy wood because of the special reptile skin-like grain, but with regular use they have realised that it is a wood with optimal acoustic properties to achieve the sustain that guitarists love so much.
