General description of the Torrefied Ash Unfinished Electric Guitar Body Stratocaster Style MB Exclusive:
The Torrefied Ash Unfinished Electric Guitar Body Stratocaster Style MB Exclusive is made in Spain and it is a faithful recreation of the legendary Fender™ Stratocaster™ model. This body has been pre-routed with the traditional three single coil configuration.
The body of this guitar has all the necessary routings for the electronics and hardware, as well as the tremolo cavity in the back. The holes for the neck and bridge screws have already been drilled.
Finished with 120 grit sandpaper. The body has been sanded to remove the most obvious marks from the cutting and routing process, but it will always be necessary to sand with finer grit sandpaper before any finishing.
The torrefied ash wood has undergone a thermal ageing process that modifies the internal structure of the wood by means of the application of heat in an oxygen-free environment. The ageing of the wood achieved with torrefaction is similar to that achieved naturally over the years. This process improves stability, decreases the capacity to absorb moisture, increases the speed of sound, decreases the weight of the wood and visually its colour gains depth and enhances the grain of the wood. This process improves the acoustic properties, in short, and is highly appreciated by most luthiers.
