General description of the Black Limba Unfinished Electric Guitar Body Stratocaster Style MB Exclusive:
The Black Limba Unfinished Electric Guitar Body Stratocaster Style MB Exclusive is made in Spain and it is a faithful recreation of the legendary Fender™ Stratocaster™ model. This body has been pre-routed with the traditional three single coil configuration.
The body of this guitar has all the necessary routings for the electronics and hardware, as well as the tremolo cavity in the back. The holes for the neck and bridge screws have already been drilled.
Finished with 120 grit sandpaper. The body has been sanded to remove the most obvious marks from the cutting and routing process, but it will always be necessary to sand with finer grit sandpaper before any finishing.
Black Limba has a slightly greenish creamy white colour, which darkens when exposed to light. There may be areas of yellowish colour with blackish streaks. Growth rings are often visible. It has a straight, close grain that is occasionally interlocked or wavy with a uniform but somewhat coarse texture. It produces a beautiful, warm, rich tone, similar to mahogany, but with just a touch more resonance. The fine streaks of brown and black make it much more attractive than mahogany.
