Overview Okume FSC 100% Unfinished Electric Bass Body Precision Style MB Exclusive:
The Okume FSC 100% Unfinished Electric Bass Body Precision Style MB Exclusive is made in Spain and it is a faithful recreation of the legendary Fender™ Precision™ model. This body has been pre-routed with the usual split coil pickup configuration and is designed to use a 5-screw bridge.
The body of this bass has all the necessary routings for the electronics and hardware. The holes for the neck and bridge screws have already been drilled.
Finished with 120 grit sandpaper. The body has been sanded to remove the most obvious marks from the cutting and routing process, but it will always be necessary to sand with finer grit sandpaper before any finishing.
Okoume is a wood from Africa, extremely light and very easy to work. Its mechanical characteristics are somewhat reminiscent of mahogany, and it is usually used as a substitute for the former. It has a very distinctive pinkish color, and is perfect if we want to keep the weight of our guitar as light as possible. The fact that it is 100% FSC certified guarantees its origin and that it comes from protected and sustainably developed forests.
