Gotoh machine heads have a smooth and delicate turn, the bearing is heavily machined at the end of the roller. This bearing is invisible, as it is perfectly located just inside the tuner hole in the center of the blade. The anti-friction rollers move effortlessly thanks to the quality of the rollers and the special lubrication of Gotoh tuners. The post bearing allows the tuning of the machine heads with precision and durability, while at the same time avoiding a common problem with machine heads, which is friction and creaking in the wood every time the tuning is done.
