Lightweight, stable, and a pleasure to work with — Honduran cedar wood responds beautifully on the lathe and in carving. With a density of 450–600 kg/m³, it’s ideal for smooth cutting without sacrificing precision. Its warm color, soft aroma, and straight grain offer a comfortable and controlled working experience.

Native to Brazil and known botanically as Cedrela odorata, this cedar is great for projects requiring lightness with presence: carved figures, turned handles, small vessels, or decorative elements.
