In Maderas Barber we have available all the necessary sizes to build your Galician bagpipe. The bass drone cap is located at the end of the bass drone and is where the drone or pedal note of the instrument comes out.

Ebony is, together with blackwood, the most sought-after wood in the construction of woodwind instruments. Like the former, it has similar characteristics in terms of hardness, ease of turning and its timbral qualities, being somewhat less dense -and therefore lighter- and not as lustrous as blackwood. In any case, it is one of the favorite woods of woodwind instrument makers.
