<h2 class="MsoNormal">¿Qué debo tener en cuenta a la hora de elegir un tamaño de trastes?</h2>\r\n
<p>Los trastes son una parte fundamental del instrumento y están en constante contacto con los dedos del músico. Por esto que<strong> su elección tendrá un papel muy importante en la construcción del instrumento.</strong></p>\r\n
<p>En lo que respecta a la facilidad de ejecución, debemos tener en cuenta dos factores: l<strong>a altura y la anchura de los trastes.</strong></p>\r\n
<p>La <strong>altura de los trastes se refiere a la distancia entre el diapasón y la parte superior del traste.</strong> Con trastes más altos hay menos contacto entre los dedos y el diapasón. De esta forma se necesita menos presión para que suenen las notas. Esto facilita técnicas como el bending y el tapping.</p>\r\n
<p>Por otro lado, <strong>la anchura de los trastes se refiere al ancho de la parte superior de los trastes.</strong> Con trastes más anchos el ángulo entre el diapasón y la parte superior de la corona del traste es menor. Esto facilita el deslizamiento sobre el diapasón. Esto contribuye a una sensación más suave al tocar cuando se utilizan trastes más anchos. <strong>Y esto, a su vez, facilita doblar las cuerdas.</strong></p>\r\n

Fabricados en alpaca con un contenido en níquel del 18% para una mayor dureza, los trastes Dunlop son una opción habitual y están presentes en los talleres y fábricas de guitarras de todo el mundo.</p>\r\n
<h2 class="MsoNormal">¿Cómo elijo el traste más adecuado?</h2>\r\n
<p>Esta es una <strong>decisión fundamental</strong> a la hora de construir o reparar una guitarra, sin duda. Los criterios básicos a la hora de elegir un traste <strong>deben tener en cuenta su forma</strong> (en la parte que asoma del diapasón, o corona) <strong>y el material</strong> del que estén hechos. El ancho y alto de la corona del traste tienen una influencia decisiva en la sensación del intérprete al tocar. Por supuesto, cada persona tiene sus propias preferencias pero podemos enumerar una serie de características que son innegables. Cuanto más bajos los trastes, más cómoda es la sensación al hacer acordes. Esto se debe a que hay que realizar menos esfuerzo para apretar las cuerdas. Inversamente, los trastes altos ayudan a la hora de ejecutar técnicas como los<em> bendings</em> y tienen una vida útil más larga, pues hay más material para efectuar sucesivos rectificados de trastes. En cuanto al ancho, cuanto mayor sea este más confortable resultará el contacto con el mástil, pero también exigirá un trabajo más preciso a la hora de recoronarlos para evitar problemas de entonación.</p>\r\n
<p>Si hablamos de material, tradicionalmente se ha empleado la <strong>alpaca</strong>. Esta es una aleación compuesta de zinc, cobre y niquel que posee el equilibrio ideal entre dureza, resistencia a la abrasión y ductilidad. Podemos encontrar distintas formulaciones con una presencia de <strong>zinc que oscila entre el 12% y el 18%</strong>. Cuanto mayor sea este porcentaje mayor será la dureza del traste. En los últimos años han aparecido trastes de otros materiales como <strong>bronce</strong> o <strong>acero inoxidable</strong> que aportan nuevas posibilidades. <p>La <strong>altura de los trastes se refiere a la distancia entre el diapasón y la parte superior del traste.</strong> Con trastes más altos hay menos contacto entre los dedos y el diapasón. De esta forma se necesita menos presión para que suenen las notas. Esto facilita técnicas como el bending y el tapping.</p>\r\n
<p>Por otro lado, <strong>la anchura de los trastes se refiere al ancho de la parte superior de los trastes.</strong> Con trastes más anchos el ángulo entre el diapasón y la parte superior de la corona del traste es menor.
