<p>Le <strong>couteau japonais Hira a une forme plate sur le dessus. Il est adapté pour sculpter du bois plat.</strong> Grâce à sa lame mince sur le dessus, il peut également être utilisé pour sculpter dans des espaces étroits.</p>\n
<p>Il est<strong> fabriqué en acier aogami, également connu sous le nom d'acier bleu.</strong> C'est un alliage contenant de faibles quantités de phosphore et de soufre, avec l'ajout de tungstène et de chrome pour rendre la résistance à la température moins critique. Cela permet d'augmenter la résistance à l'usure, prolongeant ainsi la durée de vie du tranchant et offrant une plus grande flexibilité.</p>\n
