Overview Nitorlack® Relic Gloss Nitrocellulose Lacquer Spray Relic Gloss nitrocellulose lacquer for guitars has been specially formulated to achieve a crazed effect , making it ideal for creating relic finishes on electric guitars.
Crazing usually appears a few days after application. It is recommended to use it as the final finishing coat of the guitar. After applying a primer, a colored lacquer, and transparent topcoats, you can add two to three thin coats of Relic Gloss to facilitate the relicing process.
Relic Gloss is an excellent choice for giving your guitar a vintage look that will develop even more naturally over time as the wood ages and wears.

<p>Being <strong>water-based</strong>, the drying of this acrylic lacquer is a little slower, it takes about twenty minutes to be dry to the touch, but it is <strong>practically odorless and non-flammable.</strong> <br />It offers an extremely <strong>resistant and glossy finish.</strong><br /><br />If you wish to apply a second coat, you must let it dry for two hours, although a coat of wax can be applied, if necessary, after about thirty minutes.<br /><br />This product <strong>can be sprayed</strong> if you have the proper equipment, or it <strong>can be applied with a cloth or brush</strong>.
